Tile backerboard is a polystyrene hard foam core and coated with a glass-fibre mesh reinforced cement based mortar layer on both sides.

Nicobond Tile Backer Board is lightweight, very robust, easy to cut, easy to install, waterproof and is available in numerous sizes and thicknesses providing solutions for many tiling and building situations. It can be used as a direct replacement for gypsum plaster board or timber wall boards in wet areas, overlay damaged boards or provide additional protection to similar wall boards.
